Malaysia’s conservative Islamic party really doesn’t want Avril Lavigne to perform in the country!

After failing to have her concert banned, they’ve announced that they’ll mount protests at her concert, scheduled for Friday.

Apparently, the scheduling is ‘insulting’ to Islam because the fasting month of Ramadan is due to begin just a few days later.

April’s great at insulting!

A leader of the Pan Malaysian Islamic Celebration said:

“A concert of this nature is not conducive to teach the younger generation to become good citizens, upright and competitive, but instead would weaken them morally and mentally. If the concert organisers do not heed this warning to cancel the concert, PAS youth will order all Muslim youth to turn up and protest the concert in order to prevent it from taking place.”

To the Malaysian Muslim youth who might be thinking of showing up to Avril’s concert to ‘rebel’ against their elders…don’t do it!

We don’t think she’s ‘worth’ their ire!

Regardless, sounds like Avril’s peeps effed up. Someone didn’t do their homework about the country!

An insider tells Star magazine that Avril Lavigne is going to have some work done on her teeth.

About time!

“Avril hates her fangs,” says an insider. “She is planning on having them filed down by a cosmetic dentist. It’s just something she has always been insecure about, especially since everyone is staring at her mouth when she sings. As soon as Avril finds some time to take off so it won’t interfere with her singing, she’s getting it done!”

We mentioned last month that Avril Lavigne’s “hard core fans” were on a mission to make her video for the song Girlfriend the most played ever on YouTube.

Well, as of Friday morning, Team Avril toppled the now former #1 spot holder, the Evolution of Dance video, with 92,696,978 views.

BUT, Douchette Supremo’s video didn’t get there by legit means!

As we’ve previously reported - and corroborated by Wired - a website was created to automatically play the Girlfriend video every 15 seconds. Avril’s fans inflated her play counts, propelling her vid to “most viewed” ever.

Avril’s “Band Aids” plan to use this shady tactic til her vid gets to the 100 million views mark, the first-ever to do so on YouTube.

YouTube’s policy is to remove videos from the most-played section if they discover that their view count system has been gamed.

Why haven’t they done that??????

YouTube still has April’s video listed in the site’s “most viewed of all time” category.

Wired went on to reveal that YouTube has probably turned a blind eye to Avril’s shadiness because the site’s making advertising money off of the fake views.

Shady Lavigne’s manager revealed the following at a business conference in London on Thursday:
“there’s about a $2 million check waiting for her for all her YouTube plays.”

Douchette and her managers are getting a cut of YouTube advertising sales money! Money they didn’t even get by legit means!

We hope the shadily earned money is going to a charity.

Avril Lavigne ‘fans’ are basically cheating their way to the top!

The “Avril Band Aids” are deceptively working to drive the video for Girlfriend to YouTube’s most watched top spot - #1 most viewed video of all time.

The number one position currently belongs to that ‘History of Dance’ clip, which we’re sure you’ve all seen many, many times.

Avrilphiles have sent out emails to fans to get them to watch Avril’s video as many times possible AND set up automated YouTube view-boosting sites.

The pages automatically reloads Avril’s video every 15 seconds, so as to rack up as many hits as possible, and a letter from the site advises fans to keep a browser window open all day with the page in it.

Seriously?

Seems like Avril and her peeps go out of the way to make her look lame.

Cheaters suck!

A few of our Scandi lovelies have been in touch to report that Avril Lavigne is being completely lame in Sweden.

Apparently, Avril is set to perform in Sweden on Saturday, and she has demanded that any photographer hoping to shoot at the concert sign a contract that goes against the Swedish law.

Avril, a Canadian, is demanding that Swedish photogs follow U.S. law.

Huh????

Why should Swedes on their home turf follow some other country’s laws????

According to a rep for Lavigne’s record label, it’s Avril - not the record company - that’s making the crazy demand.

April’s managers drew up the ‘illegal’ contract.

We think this is grounds for an all-around boycott of anything Avril in Sweden!

One of Avril Lavigne’s back up dancers has revealed that the popwreck is an insecure mess and a diva to work with!

Sara Von Gillern might be out of a job soon!

The So You Think You Can Dance alum was asked during a recent interview if Avril is difficult to work with as she’s painted to be in the press?

After a loooooong pause Sara told me that Avril’s “really rad and fun to work with.” Ah, just one year in the biz and she’s already spinning like a pro. But then again this breaker knows a thing or two about spinning. Since she was rocking a seriously spiky and streaked hairdo, I asked if the new look was for the tour. “Actually, it’s a rule we all have to have dark hair, there can only be one blonde on the stage,” she told me about blonde Avril. “One of the other dancers is bleach blonde but she has to wear a wig. She actually has like five different dark ones.”

Yet another thing that proves Avril is a douche.

Our favorite Canadian, April Lavigne, wants to talk to her fans from the heart.

The singer and “songwriter” just posted the following on her official blog.

She says:

“Hey Guys,

I’m at home right now taking it easy. I’ve been sick this whole tour, and now I’ve lost my voice. I’ve never canceled a show in my whole career and just had to for the first time ever. This sux!

I’m so sorry! I’ve been on the road for 60 days straight. I’ve had the flu 3 times and I never get sick, it just keeps going around. I think I’m just run down. I just played 4 shows in a row in Texas (which is a lot for the vocals) and woke up in Vegas Tuesday with no voice. I thought I was gonna have to cancel that show, but I made it through…..barely! I still went on stage in Vegas and gave it my all, but unfortunately its interfering with my throat now. I had to eliminate songs.

I woke up yesterday and knew I wouldn’t be able to sing last night. My voice is so shot. We drove home yesterday and I went to my throat doctor. He stuck a camera down my throat….ewwww, I gagged!!! It was kinda funny though…..he stated I have “Acute Laryngitis”.

So, um, yeah, that sux. I was supposed to play a show in San Diego yesterday and was supposed to perform on Jay Leno tomorrow and go live with Ryan Seacrest in the this day, but I had to cancel that too. I’m at home resting my voice for 2 days and hope to be back out soon. Thank you for understanding. And once again, I sincerely apologize.

April Lavigne “postponed” her San Diego concert tonight.

Perezious reader Jeff tells us that excessive partying could be the main reason why she can’t play in San Diego this evening.

He shares with us:

“Avril and Boys Like Girls (Avril’s support band) played here (in Vegas) last night at the Palms…yesterday afternoon (at a private performance before the big show) the lead singer of Boys Like Girls Martin Johnson said, “We (he & Avril) got so wasted last night in her suite.” He told us how she (Avril) had a bowling alley in her suite and that they “went shot (alcohol) for shot all night long.” Even at the show last night, in front of her very young audience, she claimed that she was “hung-over” from drinking so much the night before. I think that is one of the many reasons she bucked the San Diego show…”

So responsible. Promoting drinking to the tweens in the audience.

April sucks!
