The Palins are soooo the Spears family of Alaska!

Like the Spears, the Palins have a knocked up teenaged daughter.

AND, like the Spears, it looks like the Palins sometimes poo poo the whole notion of child safety seats.

We were shocked to read the following report:

One Friday in June, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin joined the chief of the state prison system on a tour of the Point MacKenzie Correctional Farm, a 90-minute drive north of Anchorage. It was a routine visit but for the presence of the governor’s infant son, Trig.

Palin held her baby in her arms as the warden drove a short distance around the facility, said corrections director Joe Schmidt, who sat next to Palin. A few days later, the governor got a warning from her public safety commissioner that someone had complained that she did not strap Trig into a car seat for the ride. Palin dismissed the complaint as petty, and the commissioner, whom she appointed, took no formal action.

Petty?!?!

Someone’s concern for Palin’s disabled son’s life was dismissed by her as petty?!?

Yikes!

We got our hopes up, only to have them CRUSHED.

But, this is probably for the best.

PerezHilton.com just spoke to Britney Spears‘ manager, Larry Rudolph, and he tells us exclusively that the former and (hopeful) once-again Princess of Pop is NOT performing at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

She is 100% not performing, Larry assured us, but she will be attending and opening the show.

Rudolph has repeatedly stated recently that Spears was NOT performing, a statement echoed closely by the reps at MTV.

So, what to make of that footage that leaked on Friday that showed Britney rehearsing to a new song of her with some dancers???

“She was not rehearsing for the VMAs,” Rudolph tells us. “It was just her going into the studio with some dancer friends and having fun. It’s a regular occurrence now. I see that every day.”

But we don’t! And we got VERY excited.

Well, we think it’s wise that Spears wait until she’s 110% ready to perform and make a killer comeback.

But, Larry tells us, that day is not too far away!

Such as Britney Spears being a whore at 14!

Last year, attorney Eric Ervin, who worked with Spears when she was a teenager, said in an interview that Britney’s whole “Virgin ’til Marriage” act was one big publicity stunt.

He says Britney popped her cherry at the young age of 14 and that it was to her then boyfriend Reg Jone.

Oh, and he also added that her and Justin Timberlake were intimate since the beginning.

But what would some former attorney know, right????

However, Momma Lynne Spears is now spilling some shocking news about Britney in an attempt to sell more copies of her book.

And in it, among many other things, she confirms that BritBrit did have sex at 14!

WTF?!?!

Lynne’s new book, Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World, confirms that Brit lost her virginity at 14 to an 18 year-old high school football player.

Isn’t that illegal?

And she also admits that Brit began drinking at the age of 13!

That’s illegal too!

And she started experimenting with drugs at 15!!!!

We’re LOVING this!

What we’ve known all along is coming out, though we’ll admit that it is a bit sad.

Brit had a fucked-up childhood and looks like Momma did nothing to help her.

Momma Spears even says that by the age of 16, Britney was caught with marijuana and cocaine on a private jet!

There seems to be a lot of talk about Britney in this book, which will be released on September 16th. We’re even tempted to buy it now.

But of course, Momma Spears isn’t to blame.

She says she simply regrets “losing control of Britney’s career to handlers who promoted her as a sex object and put her in raunchy videos.”

Oh, and she also admitted to “allowing” 16 year-old Brit to sleep with Justin Timberlake and that she went along with the public lie that Brit was saving herself til marriage.

A source said, “Lynne thought Britney was in love and Justin was good for her.”

Back in 2003 Timberlake told Barbra Walters that Britney “lost her virginity a while ago — and I should know.”

Wonder what else she wrote about Brit and sis Jamie Lynn Spears?

Looks like Brit and her Momma might not be speaking again for a while.

With one daughter as a teen mother and another who suffered a breakdown and lost custody of her kids, it seems like a good idea that Lynne Spears doesn’t release her “parenting” book.

Instead, the book has taken a different turn.

The 53 year-old will soon be releasing a “tell-all” titled Lynne Spears: Through the Storm.

The book, which comes out on September 16th, will portray Lynne as a wonderful mom and will show her defending herself against the criticism that she’s failed as a mother.

An inside source tells In Touch Weekly, “She hates that people think she’s some horrible stage mom who pushed Britney and Jamie Lynn into stardom. In the book, Lynne writes that she never had any intention of profiting off her girls. She was only on the payroll when she was helping Britney with her fan club and web site.”

The source adds some information about Britney Spear as well, saying “Lynne dishes on Britney’s love life. She liked Kevin and even calls him a caring daddy. She just wishes they would have taken their relationship slower.”

As for BritBrit’s breakdown, the source adds, “It’s a mother’s worst nightmare. Her heart broke into a million pieces when she saw the look of despondency in Britney’s eyes.”

And what about daughter Jamie Lynn Spears? Seems momma Spears was upset about how she found out about the pregnancy.

The source says, “Lynne writes that they handed her a note. She was furious.” Though things have changed since the birth of the baby, and everything has been forgiven.

There is one person, though, that Lynne won’t be forgiving, and that is Britney’s former “manager”, sleazeball Sam Lufti. The source says Lynne “makes Sam out to be a monster and a predator who took advantage of Britney when she was most vulnerable.”

And finally, after reading the book, the source says, “You really feel for Lynne. All she ever wanted was to raise a happy and healthy, loving family.”

Could this source’s name be Lynne?????

Looks like the Spears family has some big skeletons in their closets.

Like murder!

We’re not joking.

It turns out Jamie Lynne‘ mom killed a young boy years ago.

Accidentally, of course.

The incident happened in Kentwood, LA, back in 1975 when Lynne Spears was 20 years old.

Lynne was driving her brother to the hospital after he’d suffered an injury when she ran over the 12 year old boy on his bicycle.

The National Enquirer has even gotten confirmation that the story is true from Lynn’s rep!

A family friend says, “To this day, Lynne hasn’t gotten over what she did. She gets that terrified look in her eye when she is thinking about it. She has told only a few people about the accident and always says, ‘Please don’t think I’m a bad person.’”

The young boy, Anthony Winters, lived along the route Lynne was taking.

Lynne’s rep says, “Anthony Winters and his friend were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve she could not avoid the boy in the street as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane.”

Anthony later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Her rep adds, “Lynne realized the boy was struck immediately and to this day is grieved by the Winters’ loss of their son.“

Sad. Sad. Sad.

Poor family.

The lawyers weren’t able to work things out during lunch.

Britney won’t be able to see her kids any time soon, sadly.

There is talk of sending Spears to a live-in treatment facility for her bipolar disorder. Hopefully that will happen!

Lawyers for Spears and Kevin Federline were in court on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, they were unable to reach an agreement on the specifics of how/when/where Britney would see her children.

Sad.

Update:

The attorneys are said to be working through lunch and want to reach an agreement.

They will all be back in court at 1:30 P.M. Pacific.

Look at her. LOOK at her!

We can just see a very noticeable difference in Britney Spears. She seems calmer, happier and more at peace.

Now that the negative influences have been removed from her life, the once and future pop star’s family is ensuring that their beloved daughter gets healthy.

With the chaos gone from her life, a dress up Brit Brit was subdued and smiling sincerely as she went out to dinner at SHU sushi restaurant in Los Angeles on Monday night with her new bodyguards and assistant.

If Britney keeps things up, hopefully she will be able to see her children soon.

That would be very nice!

Britney Spears got all dressed up on Saturday night for a lovely meal with her dad, Jamie, at the new restaurant at Social Hollywood.

We love seeing Brit Brit spend time with her father. And it is nice seeing her well protected by her large security team.

Spears seems different, in a good way. We genuinely hope she’s keeping up with therapy and treatment. It is essential! ESSENTIAL.

Doesn’t she appear calmer????

We are loving the new Brit Brit, and we’re especially loving her new security detail and assistant.

Spears has been relatively calm lately, and that’s a good thing. Her new meds must be kickin’ in!

Britney and posse did a little shopping in LA on Friday at the Fred Seagal store. Thankfully the late nights and aimless driving around town seem to be done.

The bad influences are gone from her life!

And, speaking of bad influences, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that they are looking into allegations that Brit’s former “manager” Osama Lutfi drugged her.

Homie better stay in hiding. Shit’s about to go down for him!

The Britney drama never ends!

On Thursday, another court hearing was held to determine what changes/if any should be made in teh former pop star’s life.

And, a Los Angeles Commissioner decided to extend her father’s role as conservator. So, that means, until Brit Brit’s next court hearing on March 10th, Jamie Spears will be captain on her ship.

Additionally, Spears’ brother, Bryan, has been named trustee of his sister’s estate.

While poppa controls who she sees and how she runs her life, big bro will rule her finances.

And, Britney was also ordered to undergo a 730 evaluation - to help determine child custody. The results of that evaluation need to be turned in to the court by the next hearing.

So many changes! All for the better, we think.

Raising four kids is expensive these days, and Britney ain’t getting any richer. She’s got lots of lawyer and medical bills to pay!

Daddy Kevin Federline has been working hard as of late to earn some money on his own. Acting in One Tree Hill, special appearances at NYC Fashion Week…he gots to do what he gots to do to bankroll the family and pay his bodyguard. Yes, he still rolls with a bodyguard.

The K-Fed clan can continue to rest easy, for now, because there could be $200,000 coming their way. A major cable network has reportedly offered the pricy sum for a sit-down with the Kevs, and, believe it or not, he doesn’t need to talk about Britney!

That’s the kicker. According to a Federline source, K-Fed has been offered $500,000 to spill about Brit and has refused.

Nothing is set in stone yet for a new interview. Team Kevin are said to be angling for more money.

Do we really wanna hear him talk about his “career” or his role as a father???

If he ain’t talking Britney, it’s not worth it!
