Things seem to be on the rocks for faux-punk rocker April Lavigne’s marriage to hasbeen Deryck Whibley of Sum 41.

Avril’s been on tour while Deryck’s been at home, causing the couple to live separate lives.

And those separate lives may never diverge again!

According to the National Enquirer Deryck was spotted cozying up to a “statuesque brunette beauty” at Villa night club earlier this month. The same night April was on the other side of the world, performing at a concert in China.

Parents, please be careful. Hannah Montana is hazardous to your child’s health!

There’s been a current finding of lead in toys being sold in Canada. And, according to the Toronto Star newspaper, who launched an investigation, dangerously high levels of lead are being found in a range of items, such as toys, baby pacifiers, and even Hannah Montana bracelets sold at Wal-Mart!

Although the U.S. government has named lead toys “one of the most serious environmental hazards to children”, the same toys are still making their way to Canada.

The Star used two types of high-tech tests to help find out just what the government was letting into the country to be sold. They found lead being sold everywhere, from small to big retailers!

Some of the products contained small amounts of lead, but others “contained levels of lead that are illegal under Canadian law.”

One find was a jewelery kit marked “Lead Free” but when they tested the necklace, it had almost double the legal limit for lead, while the necklace clasp had 150 times the limit!

Upon the discovery, the owner of the small store selling the jewelry threw out the remaining kits, and stated, “These are all garbage. This should not have happened. It should not be sold. It’s not my problem. I blame our government. Something is coming to this country and it is coming with the permission of the government. They should be taken to task.”

Even his suppliers were upset as they had paid a premium for lead-free products from their Chinese manufacturers. The suppliers also threw out the remaining 100 kits they’d in inventory.

Tony Clement, the Canadian Health Minister, called all the findings “deeply disturbing” and promised that if re-elected he’d pass a law to superior protect consumers as he believes the current law is too week.

Of all the retailers tested, lead was found in about one in every four products bought, with the majority of the products being made in China.

As for some items, like a Hannah Montana bracelet, it contained 27% lead, which is 445 times the legal limit on lead in jewelery marketed to kids! And the bracelet clasp contained 1,000 times the limit.

Dr. Lennox Huang, the deputy chief of pediatrics at McMaster Children’s Hospital, stated that “repeatedly sucking on, or swallowing, these items could bring on a range of damaging symptoms, from a drop in IQ, to a prolonged period of vomiting, diarrhea and cramping, to possible death.”

As for Wal-Mart and distributor F.A.F. Inc., they’ve said they pulled the 3,000 Hannah Montana bracelets from their stores across Canada while they investigate the findings. They stated the product was screened and found to be safe, but later Wal-Mart said the lead screening was incomplete but wouldn’t share their test results.

Disney didn’t comment.

The couple whisked their 30+ guests off to the Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, a luxurious outpost of 20 canvas tents that caters to nature lovers, on Vancouver Island.

As we mentioned back in July, Canadian singer Michael Buble ended his relationship with girlfriend of three years this summer, British actress Emily Blunt.

But Buble is too hot to be single for too long.

Later that month he was spotted with some Audrina Patridge look-a-like.

Now, he’s opening up about his breakup with Blunt.

And even though it’s been two months since their breakup, Buble has nothing but nice things to say about his ex.

In a recent interview he says, “Emily was a substantial person and amazing still.” But, he explains that the two split mainly because of their busy schedules.

He reveals, “In my business it’s tough to go out with another artist because you’re never together. You’re lucky if you can see the person once every two to three months, and with Em, she was on her movies and I was doing my thing so it made it more difficult.”

That makes sense.

Though he does admit that the breakup was hard.

Buble says, “I’ll go home and I’ll curl up in a ball and I’ll cry. I’m not kidding. I’ll just cry.”

Awww, he’s so sensitive!

If you ever want a shoulder to cry on, you know we’re here for you!

Buble continues, “I’m really sentimental. That’s why I think I love the music that I love. It’s always tough to end a relationship, isn’t it? It helps me actually to write. Whatever I’m going through, it’s usually helpful.”

He admits that his ex inspired his 2007 Grammy-nominated song Everything.

And, after the breakup, he wrote a new song, I Just Haven’t Met You Yet.

As for his future girl, Buble says, “I don’t want a pushover. I want a strong human being that doesn’t put up with my BS. It turns me on actually.”

So did he just insinuate that Blunt was a pushover?

Either way, we’re sure he won’t have any trouble finding a girl (or boy)!

With every large film festival, there’s always celebs on the red carpet taking pictures and giving out autographs.

And when it comes to autographs, people take it seriously. Especially those crazed “professional” autograph collectors.

So, during the 2008 Toronto Film Festival, a survey was taken to find out who was the best and worst celeb autograph signers.

Ater some polling from the fans, photographers, festival volunteers and even the professional autograph seekers, the list was compiled.

And, topping off the list of best signers is Benicio Del Toro. It states, “The Che star was almost everywhere during his few days in Toronto - late nights and early mornings. But Del Toro never refused to sign. When one autograph collector mentioned that Benicio did 21 photos in a row at one stop for him - he was crowned our TIFF ‘08 signing champ.”

Also on the best list was Rose McGowan, Kate Beckinsale, Dakota Fanning and Zac Efron who “signed up a storm at his premiere.”

As for the list of the worst, Jimmy Page came in on top. “Disappointing for many, considering Page was the one autograph everybody wanted. Jimmy was at least nice and did explain to collectors - from the moment he landed in Toronto that he ‘was not doing the autograph thing anymore. Kind of finished with that.’ For his three days in Toronto - he basically stuck to his word and signed nothing. At least, almost nothing.”

Among the rest of the worst on the red carpet for not signing, are Jessica Biel, Jennifer Aniston, Queen Latifah, John Malkovich, and Kiera Knightley.

Songbird Sarah McLachlan has split from her husband of 11 years, the drummer in her band.

That’s a lifetime in Hollywood terms!

Guess she’s gonna have to find a new drummer????

Sarah is sharing her grief with her fans through two new songs, U Want Me 2 and Don’t Give Up On Us.

McLachlan says that the situation’s “pretty gross” but did not elaborate on reasons for the split.

Janet Jackson kicked off her new Rock With U tour in Vancouver on Wednesday to amazing reviews!

“It is a reminder that she is a trend-setter in her own right, a true diva, and a marvelous performer,” says the critic for the Vancouver Sun.

Wherever Benji Madden goes, Paris Hilton is sure to follow!

The Good Charlotte rocker and his girlfriend of around 9 months now have hit Canada.

Paris is there for the TIFF premiere of her new movie, Repo: The Genetic Opera. And, Benji is there with her.

And, while you’re there, why not get paid?

Monday night, Madden played DJ at Ultra Supper Club in Toronto and Hilton was with his all night long.

A partygoer there tells us:

Good party. They got in, and Paris spent every 12 seconds on a careful rotation. 3 sec snuggling Benji, 3 seconds primping and 3 seconds checking her look int the mirror.. for hours. But Benjis set wasnt bad. Every 5 min shed pretend to sip on her drink and pose. it was HOT.
