The ratings are in and…

The second episode of Saturday Night Live this season proved that politics are more popular than ever as the show scored a 5.8 rating/14 share in the metered markets on September 20th.

Hosted by James Franco with Kings of Leon performing, the second episode continued the season’s banging debut with viewership up 41% from over last year’s second episode and included a controversial Palin incest skit (If you missed it we’ll just leave it to your imagination….).

Wonder what that will do for next week’s ratings!

Holy McLovin!

Pineapple Express star James Franco has revealed that we could be seeing a Pineapple Express-meets-Superbad flick on the large screen!

Franco told MTV:

“Even before ‘Superbad’ came out, I think the studio was trying to get [Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg] to write a sequel, but they really didn’t want to write a sequel. I guess the kids would go to college or something like that [that was the studio’s idea]. And so, an answer to that was to do a ‘Superbad’/’Pineapple Express’ crossover, an unprecedented crossover motion picture with two directors, Greg Motolla and David Gordon Green, each directing half of the motion picture and somehow these characters get together, which doesn’t make sense at all, but could work.”

Rogen himself has stated that he’d be interested in a “Pineapple” sequel. But how would he combine the two universes? Just ask Franco.

“I could sell them [the characters from ‘Superbad’] something, but I think we’d want some action, so you know, somehow the kids get in trouble somehow and we have to get them out of it. And Seth plays characters in both movies, so somehow we’d have to kill one of them off.”

That’s a whole lot of information! Will Mr. Franco get in tons of trouble for telling all?

If it’s going to happen we think it needs to happen fairly soon!

We’re completely into the idea!

We’ve obtained this exclusive photo of hottie (and smartie) James Franco at his graduation ceremony from UCLA last month.

A source tells us that the Spider-Man star is “super intelligent and really nice.”

It’s nice to see when people try to superior themselves, such as actor James Franco.

The Spiderman star, at age 30, just graduated from UCLA last month.

Franco had been taking English literature courses for years.

But, the overachieving actors isn’t going to stop there.

Franco is moving to New York this September to attend graduate school at NYU!

It turns out that Franco cares about to write.

He’s co-written and directed films Fool’s Gold, The Ape, and Good Time Max.

Of his quest for more education, despite already being very successful, Franco states, “I am going back to school because I love being around people who are interested in what I’m interested in. That is the best way to learn.”

Adds James, “For me, being able to act in movies isn’t having it all. I am interested in other things, and I take my interests seriously. Thus, I’m back in school.”

Kudos to him.

Education is very important.

And the brain is a muscle - it needs exercise!

People should be following James Franco’s example, especially those celebutards that probably never completed high school or attempted to begin college.
