Mamma Mia! Here we go again!

The Brits have spoken and their favorite movie of 2008 is the film adaptation of the jukebox musical.

DVD sales of the Abba-inspired film vastly outnumbered the rest, selling more than 5 million copies - which means that one in every four British households owns a copy. A close second is The Dark Knight.

Prior to the release of Mamma Mia! on DVD, Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of The Black Pearl was the top-selling DVD, with 4.7 million copies.

As we followed earlier this year, Hairspray actress Nikki Blonsky and America’s Next Top Model alum Bianca Golden got into an altercation at the Turks and Caicos airport this past summer.

Blonsky’s dad reportedly even hit Golden’s mom causing her to go to the hospital.

Well, now the assault charges against Nikki Blonsky have officially been dropped.

Blonsky and Golden have been cleared of all charges following their family brawl on July 29th.

Turks and Caicos Police Sgt. Calvin Chase said “The cases against Nikki Blonsky and Bianca Golden have been dropped. The only case that is still proceeding is against [Blonsky's] father.”

Her dad Carl still faces charges of assault and inflicting grievous bodily harm in the incident. And if he’s convicted he could face up to five years behind bars.

No reason was given as to why the charges against the ladies were dropped.

As we mentioned earlier this week, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo collapsed in the locker room shower after the game on Sunday.

After receiving some medical aid, Romo was able to get back up and with some help made it to the podium for a press conference.

Well, Jessica Simpson’s people want us to know just how much she “loves” her boyfriend.

According to sources, once Jess heard of the fainting incident, she got worried and decided to be with him immediately.

A source blabs that Jessica “rushed to his side as soon as she found out that Tony got hurt. She got on a red eye flight right when she found out, and arrived at 5 a.m. [that] morning.”

As for Romo, he reportedly collapsed due to a torn cartilage that popped out of place twice during the game this past weekend.

We guess Michael Lohan’s “threat” to saMAN Ronson actually worked.

LezLo’s father said last week, “If one more blog or statement is made people will know the entire truth. I will release emails, texts, depositions and audio tapes that will prove everything I have been saying all along. If Sam wants to play, I am ready. But she better be ready too!”

But after constant bickering in the press and on BiHan’s personal blog, it seems father and daughter have called a truce. Well, at least Poppa Lohan has.

On his new blog, Poppa Lohan says, “There is a truce between Lindsay and I, so please stop adding any fuel to the fire. I respectfully ask that all sources, so called friends and mouthpieces refrain from any more comments or suggestions on her blog.”

WTF?

Media-loving Lohan is asking the media to leave them alone?

Has hell-frozen over?
