No one wants to see fat rolls in tights on the big screen!

The UK’s Daily Mail reports that thesp Russell Crowe has been told by acclaimed director Ridley Scott to slim down for his role as the sheriff of Nottingham in the forthcoming Robin Hood film.

Scott will be the guy at the helm of the Robin Hood movie.

The British director is credited for making tubster Crowe a star by casting him in Gladiator, a role that won him the Best Actor Oscar.

An insider revealed, “Ridley is one of the only directors on earth who could ask Russell to slim down. He’s hoping by the time March comes around that Russell will have shed some pounds.”

Who doesn’t want the return of Gladiator Russell?!

Sluttyienna Miller is probably relieved to hear this news.

As we’ve mentioned previously, SlutSlut will play the role of Maid Marian in the film.

If she’s on board we’re sure there’s going to be lots of steamy, sexy scenes.

Bet she wasn’t looking forward to getting mashed by the hefty Russell!
